I happened across this 1982 P LMC DDO-002 in some pocket change. Always pays to check pocket change!

I'm not seeing DDO-002. There's not the same extra thickness on LIBERTY and the strong notch on the bottom right of the I is not there.

I may be wrong but all the similarities are there. The elongated bottom of the L, the I is notched to the east but the camera angle does not show this, the B is almost identicle with the 002, the E is identicle. I'm definitely no expert but with the coin in hand it appears as such. But, I have been wrong before and sure I will be wrong again!

Is it copper or zinc? There are a few doubled dies for this date listed on wexler's, Kinda looks like wddo-004? what do you think http://doubleddie.com/828781.html

It is Zinc, you are right and I was dead wrong! Thank you! I now know that there is another site to view BEFORE I post about something. Knowledge is power.

You're welcome! Glad I could help. I usually check 3 sites for varieties: wexler's, coppercoins, and variety vista.

I personally think WDDO-004 is a doubled working hub. Most 1982 zincs I see have similar doubling. But I agree your coin is a much closer match to WDDO-004 than DDO-002, the I looks completely different on yours.
