The 09-S looks like MS65BN ,just a small cut on lower left wheat stalk . The 31-S is MS-64BN with a couple of small issues on reverse .

09S - Have to go by the given pics - possible old cleaning. The obverse is a lot lighter than the reverse. The obverse fields seem to show striations. AU-58 details

31S - That's a beauty! 64, guessing RB.

64RB on the 31-S; can't get a good read on the 09-S from the pictures - need to see more luster to go MS on that one and can't tell from the pictures.

63BN, 63RB (that right obverse field scuff hurts for sure).

The 1909 S was purchased as an XF45. The 1931 S was purchased as an AU-50. I think I did well!
