First I would check the address and make sure it was for me. If it was, then I would probably buy some of the pre-decimal Australian coins that I still need.

I'd go to a coin show and do my normal thing.
If it wasn't in dollars? Basically this. Maybe keep part of it for the big Moscow coin show (due in September).

In dollars, however, I'd probably just keep them, because our currency is too volatile at the moment (and our coin shops mostly don't accept dollars; besides, even if they did, there's probably nothing I want enough to pay $100 for it, and I highly doubt that any place would be able to give change for a $100... not in dollars, anyway).

I wrote up a long-winded reply back in 2012 on what I'd want to buy if I won a lot of money, but that was before I realized that I could never buy a $100+ coin unless that was a small fraction of my money, and, for that matter, before I decided that ancient and medieval coins were actually pretty cool.
Today? Just do the same thing I normally do, except with less turning away from $20 purchases because they're too expensive (might actually manage to fill most of my 7070 that way).

Hmmm, Realistic answer is that I would jump on an old waterfall bedroom set I saw on Craigslist yesterday but if I was going to go with a coin related purchase I would see if I could find a decent looking '77 IHC out there. That would probably be the only way I'd have a shot at filling that hole.
