Okay, I did some searches but I'm not finding what I'm looking for, found plenty on Littletons but I'm not interested in them. Mostly I'm looking to see if any of the dealers you see in the coin magazines are worth doing business with. You've seen them, coast to coast, etc. Every now and again something catches my eye but I've never pulled the trigger but I'd like to see if anyone has dealt with any of them and if there are any good guys out there. Let me know what you think, thanks.

I think that if you are looking for ancient coins, then you would do well to purchase from someone mentioned in this thread:

Here is a reply I posted back in May 2011, and most of the sites are still okay.

Coast to Coast mostly sells slabbed coins now, they sold mainly raw coins back then.

For modern coins Dave's Collectible Coins is my go to.

I have bought several coins from Coast to Coast and a few from L & C Coins.
Both companies have provided me with exactly what they represented.

I also pick up coins on ebay and at coin shows. But mostly slabbed.

It depends on what you're after. For higher end, quality coins especially Seated coins, Gerry Fortin is one of the best. I have no idea if he runs ads in mags.
Rest in Peace
