The auction was fast paced as always; one of the major consignors stated prices were up and down for him- some above and some below expectations. EAC members are probably the more critical and discriminating buyers of early copper in my opinion, so many slabbed "commercially graded" pieces can go pretty low if there are issues with surface, etc. If you are interested in any particular pieces I would be happy to report them here.
The Convention location was outstanding although rather remote which appeared to effect attendance from what is normally expected. The auction was well attended though, and the breadth and number of member displays exhibited top notch- all in all a great experience.
