hello mike ok, went an purchased a protactor. the glass is set at 38 degrees. the light is positioned below the mount that the coin is placed on. the lamp is angled at 45 degrees up towards the glass. the glass is the same as. the one I sent you. this piece still has the anti reflective coating on it. I am shooting through the coating. it is on the same side as the camera. see I called the engineer in germany. he explained that is the reason for the true view. now I understand this glass. hope this helps mike have a great one

i thought I would try a toonie. but changed my light to the janjo lamp. pepactonius thank you for the tip. I went to the store. I purchase a piece of studio board. I cut in to the shape of a box. taped it all together. here is the results I will photograph a loonie later. this is working great.
