My guesses: Hadrian and it says Annonia across the reverse, with SC and the right legend says COS II..

I can't figure out the rest. Trying to see where it came from. It is a large coin, I can give MM if needed. Thanks!

Aelius Caesar. Quite a find!

Will need some TLC for the possible bronze disease around the portrait, however.

What is TLC? Is that a chemical that kills bronze disease? Can you tell me how to apply it and purchase it please.

Here's a write up on Aelius. He's easy to forget because he died before Hadrian did.

A quick check on Vcoins finds coins in similar condition for sale around $100 or so. Not sure what cleaning the bronze disease will reveal though - so don't quote me on that.

Still, a rare find. Congratulations!

It seems to be this "Pannonia" type of Aelius, RIC II, 1071 (Hadrian).
