Very nice find! This is a great example of a Greaser! Definitely a keeper for sure! Those dies were pretty clogged up!

Not trying to rain on your parade, but isn't the lack of detail on JFK's portait and eagle from wear? I do see that several letters may not have struck up properly, but this just look more worn than struck through to me. Or maybe I'm wrong?

And what caused weakness on the rim? I thought grease doesn't affect the rim.

Have you verified the weight? Blank could've been punched and struck from rolled stock meant for quarters. Thanks, Doug.

What does the edge look like? Looks like a pocket piece or maybe a very slim chance it is a strike set up piece?
