Wow! Nice! Heavy grease filled, struck die. I like these coins. The more grease, the more interest to the coin. Just my opinion.

Very nice Greaser! If you could take a clear pick of the FG initials on the reverse that possibly could help us identify the year.

I'm thinking the third digit is a 9 but I won't even try on the forth one.

Very nice find! It was caused by a Grease Filled Die (AKA Struck Through Grease). It's a keeper!

So what is the weight of the coin. Copper weight, or zinc?

@UC, enough of the design elements are missing that you should save this guy in a 2x2. Well done!

Looks like a RDV-004 (From location of 'F' on 'FG'.
1974-1985.
If it is copper, then the range would be 1974-1982
Zinc 1982-1985

When you figure out the composition, then look for mint marks that match the one on your coin. You might get the date figured out that way?

You can tell it's an84 by the way the mint mark looks.

He said in the original post it was 2.5g, so that would be 82-855 according to Coop.
