One of Mike's ebay wins from ARCO  Old Microtek scanner shows XF and below details in the slab better than any out there, but for AU and above coins, you don't get the luster from light/camera.

Was travelling last night couldn't post, so here's catch-up and today's If you grade solely by Liberty, you'll always overgrade 1909. I guess most people following this thread know that, but for any getting Barber fever, thought I would just throw that out there. Even PCGS graders fall into the trap as well. Edit: Also there are 1909 S with upside down mint mark. One time I did a 'study' - about 1 month apart - looked at all 1909 S Barber halves listed on ebay at the time. Very few were excluded due to low grade/damage etc not being able to get a good look at the MM. It was almost 50:50 upside down to normal MM. No premium, just a cool finding.
