Just found another year 2000 $1 mule. Previous one was in September last year. Not in the best condition but still a keeper.

Wow, they are some awesome finds. It's so hard to find colour here in Queensland at the moment. So many Mules, that's cool.

I'm in North Queensland but I'm not sure where the coins are rolled. A bank teller in Cairns once told me I was wasting my time. She said the coins were the same ones just going around in circles. I don't think it is a waste of time especially when I usually find something worth keeping every week. I also found 1 each of 1984 and 1985 MOR proof coins this week too. They didn't fare well in circulation but are interesting nonetheless. I very often find 1984 MOR coins in very good condition and they are too good to send back. Probably end up selling on ebay or swapping them. Anyway, the hunt continues...

Here a couple of the 1984 $1 MOR in really good condition that I have found in the past few weeks while noodling. Far too good to send back to the bank. They certainly have not seen much circulation. I guess they have 'escaped ' from someone's collection.

I also had a good win with this week's $2 noodle. I don't normally get so many colored coins at once. There seems to be quite a few more peacekeepers and commonwealth games coins than normal too. Also found a 2012 Solomon Islands $1, a 1995 proof $2 and two coins with Cuds on the rims.
