I got this set yesterday at Bletchley Park - the former top secret 'Station X' where German and Japanese communications were received and decoded during World War II. It's also generally acknowledged as being the birthplace of the first programmable computer - Colossus: Unlike the effects you get when squashing post-1982 zinc cents, there is little discernible difference whether you press a pre-1992 bronze British penny or a post-1992 bronze-clad steel one. One of these pennies is solid bronze and three are clad - which is the bronze one?

No, sorry Spence, not Alan Turing. If you enlarge the picture you can actually see some of the shield design that shows this was pressed on a post-2008 penny, therefore it can only be a bronze-clad steel one.
Anyone else care to guess?

Nice group of 4 adds from a place with a fantastic history! I will say lower right is the odd one out.

Upper right appears to show the shield design so that leaves Lower Left.

Thanks jbuck! Strangely, nfine, nobody got it right! The upper right coin is the bronze one! What you can see is probably the edge of the portcullis on the reverse. I always try to use pre-1992 bronze pennies when creating my British elongates, but this was an unplanned visit and I had to use what was in my pocket. It shows that it doesn't really make any difference.

Here is an elongated cent from The Alamo. Not sure about the date of the host coin (although clearly 1982+), but the newly imprinted design says 2010.
