Nice thread. Here's one that I have. Seattle 1982 World's Fair. It is copper at 3.1 g. Would you, or should I try to remove the mark?

Cleaning elongateds is ok some do some don't. Only thing to remember is that even with the corrosion removed there will be a spot of discoloration there. since it isn't on the main subject matter area I would clean off the loose stuff that can be removed with a soft bristle brush.

Here is a two-sided elongated cent from the Independence Hall Visitor Center in Philadelphia PA. I really like the pattern of copper and zinc where the shear forces tore at the plating.
