a) wow, so close b) IMO: it's a $100 so don't think anyone will go for it (but I do sometimes keep the $5 or $10 that are near misses like this because I see them so seldom)

Thanks @walk2dwater, I agree with you on the value. This is why the real deals are so valuable. But it is a a great almost story to show and tell.

Just made a purchase for a uncut sheet 5x8 $10 1989 cad notes. BEH prefix for $675 Good Deal? I am trying to get a $5 uncut sheet 5x8 1986 cad notes. I was offer it for $625. Should I take it?

IMO: sheets are lot like Star Trek or Superman Non-circulating coin sets - they're out there but they only attract a certain niche market. They're kind of neat to look at but you really don't want to mount them for light damage -so they're rolled up again and put away. Just try to sell them though. b) I would pass (the price is marginally above what BOC sold them for in 2002) If you're keen to spend about $600-$700 on a Birds $5 I would personally go for the BC-56cA Bonin-Thiessen FNX since its one of the few notes that's held its BV in spite of a rough ride for the entire Bird's series. Otherwise find an original higher graded TPG 1935 or 37 (as these notes won't likely drop that much in value)

I know right! 0s and 2s on a $20!
Got it from an ATM in Halifax. Well circulated, nothing crisp about it. No one had thought about keeping it until it came to my hands.

(There is another thread for notes found) So keeping in the spirit of the OP: Note: this 1972 $5 XA is a short prefix which range ends at 5,520,000

Some of my "keepers" are being offered here on CCF to members who qualify (see Thread on members items for sale). See my post dated December 2nd 2018 for the back story behind this (& a few other) 1937 notes I bought about 5-6 years ago. I will also be listing many notes on ebay shortly.

This 1935 (small seal) $20 (featuring a young QEII) is a little nicer than the large seal I posted earlier:
