I haven't bought this yet. Wanted to buy a proof but they are expensive. What do you think?

Also 1943 is probably the cheapest most common year.

Who slabbed it AND what is the grade? Need to know in order to render an opinion.

PCGS slabbed it. I was told to not tell the grade to not spoil it.
It does look like the left leg of the eagle is bare, no feathers. Sometimes they just come out that way though, I think. Just like sometimes the left hand is a blob.

Technical Grade PF 65. Eye Appeal 6/10.
For a 43 this is struck very softly both obverse and reverse.
Love the luster flow but if it were me I'd hold out for a stronger strike. Look for a strong thumb.

MS 63/64 - There are marks on the eagle's leg. I would pass if it graded higher. I do see TBOP point as it does look like ciruclation rub.
