I pulled these from some rolls back when I was CRH'ing.. I thought they were interesting at the time, but now I'm cutting back on some of my items..
I'd rather they have an appreciative home instead of being turned in and melted down, so anyone want these? A 1973 and 1979 (photos), and also a 1981.

(I'm looking for UNC coins from this year's set, nothing has shown up here yet - if you have something like that to spare, maybe we can trade..)

thanks! Darcy

Glad to hear they have homes... I was considering buying them from you for future CCF "Secret Santa" gifts for young numismatists...

Congratulations on circumventing the forum rules for BST, after all it's Canadian numismatic, where there is a tradition of not being bound by any rules.

@ DBM, I was going to write you privately, but since you chose to give me a public spanking (or at least make a STRONG sarcastic point questioning my intentions), my rebuttal is public as well.

You assumed I wanted to circumvent the rules and didn't feel bound by them. It wasn't a matter of knowing the correct forum and then ignoring it - it was a matter of not knowing there was a more appropriate forum because I am not as experienced as you with the WHOLE content of the website. I'm truly sorry my misplaced post offended you that much.

By the way, my mistake was pointed out to me privately (what a concept!) and my apology was posted HOURS before your comment. Your was really just

darcyrmt, you don't technically have enough posts to start a trade thread, but I moved it here since it did not belong in the section for Canadian Coins.

and thank you Fuzzy, it is the appropriate thing to do, I have no problem that it was moved to a forum that I was unaware of. I never had any intention of circumventing any rules..

The rules are mainly to stop "fly-by" users from posting sales/trades, but you have been on CCF long enough I think we can let the post count slide a little.
