I went through the standard catalog of world coins from 1701 to present, Nepal, Tibet, India but couldn't find it.

second picture on the bottom is the date:
?55
These 5's are in Nepalees, Tibetan, Kutch, Devavnagri, Gujarati....
The last 3 are India region

I will search later today

The sprig on reverse looks like the mint mark of Ajmir mint / Gwalior, but I cannot find an image of a paisa from there.

That looks like a 1 Paisa piece from Nepal. The 1955 date on the coin means it was made around 1898 in the Gregorian calendar.
