I have a few old silver dollars and some other silver change and was wondering if this would hurt the finish? Also, I doubt if any of it is worth much more than face value but, I don't want to risk devaluing it either. According to the youtube guy, it will not devalue the coins but, I wanted to ask the forum, first!
Your opinion will be much appreciated!
Rest in Peace

Well, silver coins are at least worth melt, which is going to be higher than face value. While a bath in pure acetone will most likely not damage your coins, we advise against cleaning them in virtually all cases. Maybe post a pic of a couple items and we can weigh in with advice specific to your coins rather than generic advice?
