Not a chance. Don't know what it was (probably an 1801) but it is NOT an 1804. Simple proof is the point of leaf below the M in AMERICA. On this coin it is below the left upright of the M. On the 1804 it is below the RIGHT upright.

@Aoraki, yes, the coin was graded by PCGS as a 1801, but I thought they could have made a mistake. That date just doesn't look like a 1801!
