Is This 1871 Belgium 5 Francs Real?

This is the other one, so I'm not very hopeful. I weighed it with a gram scale and measured with digital calipers. Weight: 24.92 grams (SCOWC says it should be 25 grams) Diameter: 37.52 mm (Can't find what the diameter should be in SCOWC, is there another reliable source for that info?) I also took some pictures of the edge lettering. Well, fingers crossed. Report this Post to the Staff

As much as there may be attributes that I do not like in your coin (mainly the shape of the rim around the coin and the dentils), I do believe it to be authentic, just a well worn example. I am accustomed to the edge lettering and the stars to be a bit sharper but again, here too I think wear/circulation is the culprit.
