My mother-in-law had this in her safe with a few other odd and end coins and paper bills. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about these coins and what they maybe worth. Please and thank you

Not a coin, but a silver bullion round. Unless it is a particularly collectible design is will be worth around the spot price of one ounce of silver.

The LCS sells them for slightly below spot when he gets them form people wanting to sell them I will admit that wife collects Santa's and Christmas stuff and I generally buy them if they are nice looking, they will go for less if they are engraved will names etc.

"Silver Art Round" they are called. Worth spot price and a little bit more on ebay.
I use to collect them before the price shot up. I usually payed about 20% over spot for bars and rounds with interesting designs.
I just checked ebay sold listings ... silver 1oz rounds are generally going for $17 - $20 each
