We're off to a good start today!
Poland, 1671 schilling/solidus, Torun mint (recent auction win, not yet in hand).
My growing Kingdom of Poland collection is now my main source for the How Far Back.. threads. But unlike the long, coin-rich reigns of Leopold in Austria and Louis XIV in France, Polish coins are "feast or famine" in the mid to late 1600s, with rough patches from 1628-1649, 1669-1677, and 1689-1699. Only schillings, often out of round or deeply tarnished, are available in a few years between 1669-1676(unless you're willing to go well into the $thousands )

1671 Dugn.4289. produced in Utrecht

Jeton from the Dutch Republic, according to Van Loon (vL. III 48/44) the last jeton made by the Northern 7 provinces. The jetons posted in this thread during the past weeks were made in the Spanish Netherlands. From now on, there will be a mixture of Northern and Southern jetons.
