Two specimens of the 6 groschen. I notise that there is a dot between 16 and 25 on the the first one and behind 1625 on the other one. I have no idea what that means in terms of rarity and such....   Edited by giljan

I have no idea what that means in terms of raity and such. @giljan, I also notice the obverse of your second coin has some different punctuation of the legend (: replacing . in some places). Apparently Kopicki does not differentiate these varieties. In the WCN archive, I saw several examples of your first coin (punctuation . obv, and date .16.25 rev) in the last 12 months, and one example of the second (punctuation : obv, and date .1625.). The selling prices were not different, under 100 PLN (about $27) for every example that sold in last year. Edited by tdziemia

Thanks! When I learned of Numista from this forum and started using it, I realized they had a lot of gaps in Lorraine, so eight of the medieval coins, and some of the testons there are my entries (Antoine and Francois I, though they are not very sharp examples, Charles III middle age bust, Charles & Nicole, Francois II, Nicolas Francois, and the restored Charles IV) After our discussion here on 1627 about the three variants of the KM-45 Charles IV teston, I added those to that Numista listing, though the main photo there is an MS example ex-Heritage that I wish were mine  .
