It has a sigla of 3 parallel lines on both sides of the "E" between 12:00 and 3:00.  2. The same identical coin and sigla as the previous one except with a variation on the reverse of one cross and six lines vs. one cross and 6 lines going around the outer circle.  3. 1131-41 Hungarian Denar under King Bela II;Huszar 50,Unger 43,Rethy I-59, CAC Vol. I/13.4/a6.21/135. It has a sigla of three large points at 2:00,4:00 and 6:00 and 3 small points at 8:00,10:00 and 11:00.  4. Anonymous Hungarian Denar (1141-62,King Geza II?);Huszar 124,Unger 71,Rethy I-133,CAC Vol. II/19.10.1.1/b1.26/79. It has a sigla of one small wedge under the horizontal cross bar near 3:00.  5. Anonymous Hungarian Denar (1141-62,King Geza II?);Huszar 123,Unger 70,Rethy I-132,CAC Vol. II/19.9.1.1/a2.10/36. It has a sigla of one point on both sides of the line near 4:00.  6. 1458-60 B-S Hungarian Denar under King Matthias Corvinus;Huszar 699,Unger 553b,Pohl 199-2.  7. 1542 K-B Hungarian Denar under King Ferdinand I;Huszar 935,Unger 745a.  8. 1544 K-B Hungarian Denar under King Ferdinand I;Huszar 935,Unger 745a.  9. 1552 H-P Hungarian Denar under King Ferdinand I;Huszar 948,Unger 745k. It has a rose gold colored toning on the Madonna and the reverse.

It has a sigla of one small point in the inner circle at 3:00 and small squares in the outer circle at 3:00,6:00,9:00 and 12:00.  4. It has a sigla of one small point to the left and right of the small cross in the upper right quadrant.  5. 1131-41 Hungarian Denar under King Bela II,Huszar 50,Unger 43,Rethy I-59,CAC Vol. I/13.4/a1c1.3/219. It has a sigla of a small line next to the "L" at 3:00 and a point at 6:00.  6. 1442 (Huszar,Unger Pohl) 1443/44 (Lengyel) A-reverse B Hungarian Denar under King Wladislaus I;Huszar 605,Unger 470,Pohl 141-1. This mint mark is only listed in Pohl.  7. 1498-1503 K-H Hungarian Denar under King Wladislaus II;Huszar 807var.,Unger 641var.,Pohl 242-2var. It has a legend variety containing reverse "N's" not listed in the main catalogues.  8. 1537 K-B Hungarian Denar under King Ferdinand I;Huszar 935,Unger 745a.  9. 1539 K-B Hungarian Denar under King Ferdinand I;Huszar 935,Unger 745a.

Anonymous Hungarian Denar (1162-72,King Stephen III?);Huszar 164,Unger 86,Rethy I-157,CAC Vol. II/20.16.1.1/a2.2/27. It has a sigla of one point on both sides of the cross at 12:00.  4. 1390-1427 n-crescent Hungarian Denar under King Sigismund of Luxemburg;Huszar 576,Unger 449v,Pohl 117-9.  5. 1527 L-K Hungarian Denar under King Louis II;Huszar 841,Unger 673u,Pohl 255-38.  6and 7. Both of these are 1529 K-B Hungarian Denar under King Ferdinand I;Huszar 935,Unger 745a. They both looked nice enough. The other 2 are after 1600 in the World coins.

Thank you jBuck and Spence. Most of the time the dates were above the shield orin about the 10:00 position on the Madonna side after about 1600 but late in the 1500's they were like that.

It has a sigla of two points just after 9:00.  3. 1235-70 Hungarian Denar under King Bela IV with the panther facing right;Huszar 339,Unger 256b,Rethy I-60,CAC Vol. III/22.69.1.1.  4. 1270-72 S-S Slavonian Denar under King Stephen V;Unger Sz-12. It is a variation with the mint mark on the left being a compressed "S" and the one on the right being taller. The "S's" in the legend on the obverse are slightly tilted.  5. 1442/43 Contemporary counterfeit Hungarian Denar (billon or copper) with a mirrored B-n/star mint mark resembling Huszar 607,Unger 472,Pohl 145 under King Wladislaus I.  6. 1516 K-G Hungarian Denar under King Wladislaus II with an VNGARIE/VNGARIE legend variation;Huszar 811,Unger 646,Pohl 253-4.  7. 1535 K-B Hungarian Denar under King Ferdinand I;Huszar 935,Unger 745a. the other 2 are in the world coins.

It has a sigla of three points in a triangle surrounding the small cross at 2:00.  4. 1440/41 W-Maces Hungarian Denar under King Wladislaus I (billon);Huszar 598,Unger 469.epsilon,Pohl 135-24.  5. 1468-70 n-crossed hammers Hungarian Denar under King Matthias Corvinus with a legend variation where the "R's" look like "B's";Huszar 717,Unger 562m,Pohl 216-13.  6. 1500-02 K-h Hungarian Denar under King Wladislaus II;Huszar 807,Unger 641a,Pohl 242-1.  7. 1527 K-T Hungarian Denar under King John Zapolya;Huszar 881,Unger 699l,Pohl 265-14. I've just discovered this thread and spent a good two hours skimming over the coins. Wow brilliant! You must be very happy with the results of all of your work. I have just one Hungary coin, a toasted coin similar to your recent 1387-95 rosette-rosette Hungarian Denar. Congratulations, well done.
