I would have kept posting but jbuck peed me off the way he yanked my posts. So I just watch now.

I believe he is referring to how you edited his posts because he posted them far in advance...I will side with jbuck - it is best if you post them when we need it posted, not far in advance. I have all the 80s proof sets, but just one from the 90s - 1994. Will post it when I can.

I looked back over the thread and everything regarding that seemed rather cordial. jst1dreamr continued to contribute long after that, so I do not know why this is suddenly a thing. I am sorry if you feel slighted, jst1dreamr.

I am sorry if you feel slighted, jst1dreamr. I'm afraid this is all my fault. Sorry! jst1dreamr posted more than one year's worth of coins way back and was chastised for it, so when I posted multiple years in a later post, it probably didn't seem fair. I posted the mint and proof sets to finish one year and posted the mint and proof sets of the following year at the same time to be able to present my lone Commemorative half dollar from that era. I have tons of mint and proof sets, but being able to contribute a Commemorative coin is a special treat! The real problem was a clerical one (and a bit of laziness on my part). I took a scan of 4 years of proofs and photoshopped it down to 2 years but uploaded the wrong image (with 4 years of proofs instead of the photoshopped two years). I can see how it appeared that I was trying to present 4 years of proofs. Then we got to where there were precious metal items that we may NEVER get, so the decision was made to move on after a few days. It was shortly after that, when it wasn't clear (to me, anyway) exactly what year we were on, that jst1dreamr posted a few specialty items that he is likely quite proud of, but apparently we hadn't quite gotten to that year yet. Instead of a reminder to finish the prior year first, his posts were removed. My suggestion would be to allow a 24-48 hour grace period after a particular year is considered "done" for those of us with fairly limited items to "show off" if we missed out on our initial opportunity. Just a thought. And I have nothing interesting until 2005 (other than a 2000 bullion silver dollar).

So are we stuck on 1992? I don't know what is left, but I know that the more modern selections get more difficult. That includes gold and platinum coins a bit later and then palladium a little bit later than platinum. What do we need for this topic? I can add something for 1993 and 1994, but we're not there, yet.

We have been on 1992 for over 12 days, I feel we can start a fresh new year. Bring on your 1993 coins!

Quote: I'm afraid this is all my fault. Sorry! Thanks but it is not any your fault. I just did not agree with the way things were done as it was embarrassing and I just needed to step back and remember that sometimes I don't have to understand other people but just give them the room to be who they are and remember that is what makes us all unique. After reading some of the related comments I see there was nothing personal and I do still want to take part in sharing with everyone.
