Hi! Everyone,
I found this while coin hunting. Somehow it look very strange to me. Either that, or my eyes are getting blurry after staring at too many coins. Could you guy help me out to see if there's anything wrong with it? One thing I'd noticed the "D" mintmark was punched up high and very closed to the dated. I haven't seen one like that before. Was it normal? Thank you very much for helping me out.

@vietguy, there is some normal variation with the mint mark location as these were applied by hand. Someone else can correct me if I'm wrong, but unless the mint mark is *way* off, there is no premium for the coin. I believe that at one time, @crazyb0 prepared an amusing bull's-eye graphic of mintmark locations along with point totals. Also, is there a bit of MD on the 9 and 6 in the date?

Yep, since the mint marks were hand punched, the locations varied. No premium for this, but it's a cool fact to know about.
