Okay everyone I need help with this one. I'm not sure what to call it so I apologize for the heading on this post. Came across this 1984 D penny with a printed dot in between "WE" and "TRUST". What are your thoughts here?

It could be a plating bubble, from a plating issue, or Zinc Rot setting in.

It looks solid to me,so I think debris was trapped under the copper plating.

Is that area damaged/effected on the reverse - like a BB gun shot that protrudes on the Obverse?

No there is no damage on the reverse that would indicate PMD. If you like I can post an image of the reverse on this post as well?

Probably most likely debris was trapped under the Copper plating.
