I received a bunch of old coins and this one caught my eye. I see a ton of sellers asking crazy amounts for coins in worse shape than this. Wondering if I should have this sent to appraise? I've never thought of grading outside. Honest opinions please.

Seems to be EF sharpness, but perhaps you could further describe the darker marks and lines seen on both sides - are any of them indented?

Nice looking dime but does have a higher mintage for a CC. May have to get to XF45 to make up for the grading fees. Maybe a good ANACS candidate

Attached are some additional photos as requested. Doesn't seem like a die crack. Probably dirt or a blemish of some sort. Also, you will see the O in OF and S in states missing. Almost looks like out of the mint?

Grade looks about xf40. It does not look choice for the grade due to the staining around both sides of the coin. Average eye appeal. Should sell around $100. Nice example of a common date CC issue with a high mintage of 7.7 million. Still, it is a Carson City coin and in fairly high grade. Nice coin!
