Thank you Loonielewy, I was on the Bay and there are some being sold as coming from rolls, just an assumption on my part.

Ok thanks for the correction.
I like roll hunting on weekends and it pays off sometimes!
I am surprised when finding these coins in the wild, broken out of sets.

I started coin collecting almost 3 years ago, the loonie quickly became my favourite.
I found this website/forum yesterday and found the information and pics amazing. I still have many holes but slowly I am filling spaces.
The best part of collecting is it taking time to fill those spaces and enjoy the thrill of the hunt.
I am part of the Chatham/Kent coin club for about 2 years and have found the members very supportive and have taught me much about collecting.
I will post some pics later of my collection.

my coins are in Quadrum Intercepts, proving difficult to shoot for glare and depth of field between the plastic and the coin.
give me a bit to figure this out
