Thanks for the images, CB. These look great! I'd put the gold $5 Legion coin up with the U.S. Marshals coin. Great design!

I really like the dollar design even more seeing it as an actual coin image.

Just received the mailer for the program. Introductory prices for the non-gold coins are as follows:

Half Proof: $27.95
Half Unc: $25.95
$1 Proof: $54.95
$1 Unc: $51.95

Also of note, the 3-coin set has a product limit of 7,500 (no price yet), and the "American Legion Proof Silver Dollar and American Veteran Silver Medal Set" has a product limit of 10,000. No date for the medal set, but it's something to watch.

Does the mailer have a photo of the medal? I don't recall seeing one yet

AFAIK the Mint still hasn't published a grid/table for 2019 Pricing of Numismatic Gold, Commemorative Gold, Platinum, and Palladium Products (2018 is still what's available). Since the last few year's commemoratives didn't include a 3 coin set, a 2019 table is needed to see how the price of the 3 coin set will fluctuate with the Au spot price. If the Mint doesn't publish a 2019 grid/table with a column for the 3 coin set, then I guess its price will fluctuate in the same increments as individual Au coins.

Not sure why some do not like the half dollar design. I love it! What's wrong with you guys?! LOL.

I sense some sarcasm but, I'll bite.

I like the half design well enough (particularly the flag side), and I'll probably get it, but it doesn't hold a candle to the silver and gold designs IMHO.

No picture. Just a brief blurb stating the set will be out later this year.

Darth seems to have forgotten to use the "sarcasm" tags.

The three coin set is on my list for 12 noon Thursday, 14. Love the designs as many have posted. My only concern, rather curiosity, is how the 5 dollar will look being .850 inches in diameter. May be a bit small for such tight detail.

The 2019 pricing table with the prices for the 3 coin set is now available. With Au spot in the $1,250-$1,299.99 range the price of the set is $489.25. If it gets the normal $5 discount for the first 30 days, then it looks like the initial price of the set will be $484.25. If Au bumps up above $1,300, then the price for the set will increase by $12.25.

The discount for the 3 coin set versus buying the 3 coins individually is a little more than $27.

It's funny how commemorative coins have better designs than regular circulation coinage. That eagle is AMAZING!

As expected, the initial price for the 3 coin set is $489.25 BUT no $5 discount.

All other American Legion commemorative products have the initial $5 discount. I guess the Mint figures that the discount for buying the set versus the individual coins is sufficient by itself
