Found this in a bg of 1000 wheats that I bought at auction. Cant see date and its really the funkiest penny I ever found. Would love your professional opinions.

This cent has been damaged in some way, probably by acid or heat.

It's Post Strike Damage (it happened after it left the U.S. Mint). It has been under high heat. That's why the metal has a melted appearance to it.
