Now What? USPS Return With No Forwarding Address.

Dino Valued Member United States 180 Posts	Posted 09/08/2018 8:05 pm First time I've had a coin returned with no forwarding address, ebay buyer with 8 feedbacks. Thought there was no issue as ebay showed coined as delivered, was surprised to see it turn up in the mailbox. Sent message to buyer yesterday but no reply as of yet, guess I'll hang on to it for 60 days or so; anyone else had this happen? Report this Post to the Staff

edweather Pillar of the Community United States 7375 Posts	Posted 09/08/2018 11:10 pm Yes, assuming that it's a signature required item, if the seller doesn't pick it up, after 2 weeks the PO will return to sender. It happened to me, and I contacted the buyer, and they told me they had a serious illness in the family, and couldn't pick it up. They paid me extra to re-ship it again. Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 09/08/2018 11:19 pm If item was just tracking #, then once it goes in the mailbox it's "delivered", scanned as such. If the owner of the mailbox isn't the addressee, they could have said to carrier that person not at this address and parcel is returned. Mad wives and girlfriends do it all the time when mad at hubby's collecting expenditures. (former mail carrier) Report this Post to the Staff
