All wondering if this is an awesome form of toning on a 1966 LMC, or a science project. I've seen many folks buying up awesome toned pennies. Wondering if this has some premium. I know the overall visual look it beat up. The coin to the right isn't a 1966 but using it as a control as most of 1966 pennies have this aame look.

Thanks

Looks like a parking lot find. Cull coin. Spendable.

Today's cool rainbow toned copper is usually tomorrow's dull brown copper oxide. Most all toning on copper is nothing more than environmental damage in it's beginning state. So buy away all you unknowing folks, those that are selling are smiling widely. You want 'toned", buy my two SMS toners, nobody else will...

I agree that it's a damaged coin. It was scraped from getting run over in a parking lot. It's Post Strike Damage. It's worth face value.
Errers and Varietys.
