Running Total points 1) 8 pts - docsfishn 2) 17 pts - docsfishn 3) 24 pts - Parklane64 4) 35 pts - Parklane64 Closest per Round Points 1) 8 pts - docsfishn 2) 13 pts - dan8402 3) 13 pts for - Placasador. 4) 11 pts for - Parklane64 Here's what I'm going to do, as the winner of round four I am going to mail off one item at the end of the twelfeth round to the highest point holder and to the winner of the most rounds. I will do this for each round I win. If I win 4 rounds that means I will be sending off eight items split between two people. ETA: If I win both I will mail off the required number of items to both runner-ups. ETA(again) ...and in the case where I win one category, that runner-up gets the goods in that category. I'm going to do this instead of a pillardom contest (for when I reached five hundred posts); other round winners can participate or not, their choice. I'll be including a California gold niblet, I think it's real from the 1850s. Other items might be a Churchill, a gold plated Kennedy half, a walker, and some JIM money. Good luck, all! This is a wonderful forum and I feel honored to have gotten to know such an eclectic group.

An interesting and welcomed idea. However complicated it is. Round 5 will begin in less than 24h. Edit: I am excluded from the contest, I can't get the prizes!

Parklane64, in the previous 4 round scenario that has been completed, who would send and who receive an item if it ended now. I think I'm interested but I want to make sure how it would work. My take is that I won 1 round so I would send 2 items at this point (correct?). Do you have to agree to send something if you win a round to receive an item? By the way, Great idea just making sure I understand.
DL20K, thanks again for the contest.

That's how it would work. At this point there is no multiple round winner, but I hope to change that. Since there is no leader in the most rounds won at this point, if it ended now nothing would go out for that category and I would send an item to the runner up in points. You don't have to agree to send anything. Just at the end of round twelve I will be sending off two, and hopefully more, items. If you decided to do so, at the end of the twelfeth you would be sending off two items; except if you were a winner in one of the two categories. And you could still send item(s) to the runner up.

Round 5 begins now and ends on the 9th, 4:25AM Forum time (10:25AM Polish time). In the fifth round we've got something slightly different. Please guess the price of this: Described as "50 cents. Old American commemorative coin". Thank you for your participation!
