2000 Quarter W/ No Edges - Coin Community Forum

nvminer New Member United States 4 Posts	Posted 10/17/2018 03:41 am Hi, first time poster here. I found this quarter in a drawer at my parents house and noticed it had deep ridges on the outside. After looking at it closer, I noticed that it was flat on the outside and was missing any ridges. Was wondering if anyone on here could shed some light on the coin and if it's an error or an intentional flattening? I've been collecting coins for years, but errors are not my specialty... We see them from time to time here and so if you use the search function, you will find many other examples with which you can compare to your example.
