stoneman227 Pillar of the Community United States 2376 Posts	Posted 10/17/2018 5:46 pm Not to say a 1997 Denver mint can't have a doubled die obverse , ear or otherwise , but there are none listed. Your coin looks to have taken a hit on the ear and is a normal ear . Report this Post to the Staff
Tanman2001 Pillar of the Community United States 4404 Posts	Posted 10/17/2018 5:53 pm There is no DDO-001 for the 1997-D cent. The doubled ear is only on the Philadelphia minted 1997 cent (no mintmark). Your coin looks like it has a contact mark (damage) on the ear. Report this Post to the Staff
