All a guarantee means is if they're caught, they give you your money back.

Like stores that price match. Why should I spend my time jumping thru hoops for the privilege of being "allowed" to buy at the price the other guy will sell to anyone for?

Okay - after knowing what to look for, and where to look, I can say it is "for sure" a 1928. The line in the hair is visible under magnification. Cool!

Glad you confirmed it was real. I could not find any on my original 1928 plus there was a little off-colored spot where the mintmark was. I returned it and got a PCGS certified one for about the same price.

I got a 1928 Peace off ebay recently, and it was advertised without mention of a mint mark while others in the auction were... but when it came, it had a nice little S in the reverse corner. Fortunately, I paid about $15 for it, so I didn't feel too cheated. I had to resist the urge to ask the seller, because I didn't want to raise the suspicion... hah :) Still a good looking coin. I'm a big fan of the Peace.
