@SilverDollar2017, the marks or abrasions are raised not hammered. What type of error could this be?

If they were incuse, I would think rust on a die or damage to the coin.
But raised would have to be, very slight die dents.
I'm still thinking they are not raised on the coin though. The steps looks distorted by slight contact. (but I don't the coin in hand)
