Hi I have this 1968 Lincoln Penny I would like to know if the thickness has anything to do with double die cents

Also what do the thickness has to do with the coins?

Looks like a normal 68-S cent to me.

Hmm, perhaps you are talking about the thickness of the design elements (such as letters and numbers) when you are asking about a doubled-die? If you are asking about the thickness of the coin itself, then I don't think that there is any correlation with doubling. Of potential interest:
