I see this in the mid to high AU range as well.

AU50, cleaned. Can that greenish stuff near the rim be PVC ?

There is wear visible on Liberty's hair, cap, and eyebrow. On the reverse, the eagle's breast and thighs are worn as are the leaves next to the bow and the bow itself. Unless this key date gets lenient grading from the TPGs, I think it would top out at AU-50. It also seems to have been cleaned, but not harshly. I don't see any hairline scratches or heavy marks.

Possibly a coin with slight problems, but still rare and valuable. I wouldn't mind having it!

They gave it a VF-45 details cleaned. Still I couldn't afford to buy a coin like this.
