I received my set in the mail today! I haven't had time to investigate it closely, but I am still very impressed with it. The OGP is much nicer than I was anticipating, and thankfully I don't have any of the packaging issues that others have mentioned. Both the coin and note are very nice, and it's all around a great set for $15.95! And now it's official: I've added the other NA C&C sets to my collection's want list.

I received my two set today. On one set I was able to tap the dollar bill back in place, was only off centered a bit, the other set is going back. I am debating whether to get a few more sets since they might have the same problem.

I received my sets today, and both bills are off in different directions. I've tapped the packaging on edge, but they don't budge. Also, as a coin guy, I forgot to account for the fact that I'd be looking at Mnuchin's signature. Just a bad deal all around.

Received first two sets ordered on 24 July and both had the dollar bills low and to the right of the holders. Then received my second order of 4 today and all bills were perfectly in place. No rhyme or reason.

I'm really a fan of this dollar design

My two sets have the dollar note way out of center like the above examples. Trying to figure how to bump them back into center without damaging the OGP.

I am a little more than extremely mad with the mint regarding my order. I had ordered 4 presidential medals, 2 coin and currency sets, and a 5oz puck. When I picked the box up I could hear some metallic rattling inside. Upon opening the box I could see 2 of the medals sticking out of the side one of the coin and currency sets. I tried to pull them out but they were stuck. It seems somehow the plastic sleeve for the dollar bill is glued together at the seam and somehow came unglued and somehow the medals magically got wedged in there and stuck to the glue. And this is beside the fact that the bills are crooked. I'm not sure what they are doing at the fulfillment center when they box up your order but someone at the mint is going to get an earful from me tomorrow.

I haven't opened up the packaging on one of these sets, but if they're like previous coin and currency sets then it's the cardboard that is glued together. The currency holder is just sandwiched in between the cardboard. That's why it's such an issue with the $1s not being correctly in the holder. They may very well be glued between the cardboard and that's why no amount of tapping will re-center them Anyone actually opened up a mis-centered set to see if this is the case

I searched on youtube for "2019 coin currency set" and looked at the first five videos that popped up. Every single one of them has the problem with the bills being shifted. It's beyond me how this could get past QC, but then it's really evidence that there is no QC. I wonder how they're going to resolve this problem as I'm betting most sets will be returned for exchange. Has anyone here actually received a set with the dollar bill in the correct position?

I did, but it was easy to move it out of position by tapping on it. Nothing to hold it in place, so I can see why this is a problem

Quote: They may very well be glued between the cardboard and that's why no amount of tapping will re-center them While possible it's unlikely if it's like the past sets. It's usually the glue either failing or never being applied from what I've seen. Of course the real issue is if the tapping works, it's going to fall again.

I'm wondering if these sat in a very hot truck and the glue melted.
