Old gold is even more addicting ... I've not bought any this year.

Quote:I'd love to finish my Peace dollar set and reach some sense of closure with my Type set. My next objectives (Indian quarter eagle set and Chinese pandas) are only getting started but I can see they're going to be slow. My Peace set is still unfinished, missing 34-S and 35-S. I've been very (too?) selective, missed a few opportunities, and I've underbid more than once. My Type set is comfortably complete. I'm missing early copper (which is okay, I like other metals better) and early gold (out of my price range). There are a few early silver on my buy-list, if I can find a good price. I did pick up some more Pandas and a couple of Indian quarter eagles. Those are taking priority while I look for the right coins to fill in the other sets, and the prices help me pace things out.

Quote:I hope to put a dent in my world coin list, complete the 1935-1946 page in my Lincoln Cent 7100 in BU, start my Jefferson nickel 7113, and get at least $5 face in 90% silver. GrapeCollects reminds me I should probably memorize the Cherrypicker's guide as well. Hoping to find some DDOs/DDRs next year too. Also, maybe work up the courage to get metal detecting permissions. I've failed Other than a couple of nickels, I haven't had the time or money this year to do much. Something always comes up when I want to get back into it. So these are pretty much my 2020 goals now.

As a world coin collector, I am aiming to collect as many different world coins as I can. I usually aim to add about 1000 new coins each year. This year I am up to 1100 new coins so far, so goal is achieved. :)
