Looked at it and my eyes went right to the mint-mark. My gut says something isn't right with the mint-mark. It looks pushed in around it as mentioned previous.

As I said previously, the D looks "pushed in" on lots of certified examples, and two die scratches on the right of D are identical as markers. OP on left, two PCGS coins on right. I don't see a value incentive to add a D to a 1921 anyway.

If they are really the result of money laundering, I wonder how many were cracked out to avoid tracking cash purchases back through a TPG cert. Seems like a logical part of converting to "grandpa's collection".

The seller, kremlin_collector, aka, great-midwest-estates aka gold_standard_guy aka thedockter aka toomanycoins moves from ebay account to ebay account changing his stories from "pottery store demolition" to "Polish grandfather" to "Russian businessman" to "midwest family estate" to "Seized Russian Traitor Assets" etc. Most of his coins are cracked-out problem coins with issues. Once he is caught (negative feedbacks left) he moves on to a new ebay account selling the same returned coins. Here are some examples:
1. kremlin_collector 1850: https://www.ebay.com/itm/-/123526898303/
2. great-midwest-estates 1850: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1850-Coron...192639731393
3. great-midwest-estates 1889-cc: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1889-CC-Co...192639633835
4. thedockter 1889-cc: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1889-CC-Go...292764757010
