well, I was rained-off my route tonight several minutes after I had fed the last cat, I was scarcely halfway through the route and had just fifty-six cents in my pocket.. but I also picked a 2017 Mexico fifty cent coin from a laundromat parking lot, initially thinking it was a dime:

as it turns out, by the way, it is slightly smaller & slightly thicker than a US dime:

Interesting find, MrPink. I like finding international coins, although the proverbial pouch of Benjies would be better.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

As far as finding a pouch full of Benjamin's be careful what you wish for! This plays out on a 1960's episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents entitled "The Man Who Found The Money" starring Arthur Hill and Rod Cameron. (This was K notes instead of C notes!)

$92K?.... too much... my pouch will have in the neighborhood of $500-$5,000 in benjamins, not clevelands.

last night I picked $1.37 in well-scattered change, and along with all that castaway change I scored a nifty one-gallon glass jug full of drinking water from a water machine and an unopened 16.9oz plastic bottle of water from the parking lot of the same store.

there are two water machines in front of a grocery store. you can bring your own bottles and fill them there. lately I've been checking the coin returns on those machines; I don't know why I never thought to check them sooner, but recently I've been scoring quarters from them. they are now officially part of the route. last night I picked a quarter from each machine. when I rolled up to them I noticed the jug full of water sitting in the dispenser; someone filled their jug and left it. after I picked the quarters from each machine I nabbed the jug, put it in my bike basket and rolled away. after about 30 feet I determined the jug rattling around in the basket would not do, so I had to stop to rearrange all the stuff in my backpack so I could fit the jug into it. a much quieter ride ensued, although the jug was pushing on my spine for the remainder of the ride. not very comfortable, but at least it wasn't rattling around loudly in the basket.

i'll water my plants with the water from the jug and then i'll give the jug a good washing.

additionally, one of the quarters I picked was a 2015-P nebraska homestead, and it has a DDR. I'm still studying it with the help of wexler's DD guide. i'll have it pegged soon & will provide pictures as soon as I can manage it.

last night makes 5 consecutive sundays of having found some interesting thing/s.

5/26- 5 beers
6/2- 5 beers + $1
6/9- $1
6/16- pillow
6/23- jug of water + bottle of water + DDR quarter

$227.48 and counting. five more months until black friday.

edit, an hour and a half later:

i believe the quarter to be a WDDR-144, will provide detail pix soon.
