it began raining sunday around 9pm, on and off sprinkles, light rain, moderate rain, heavy rain, all night, into the wee hours and persists now, nearly 5am. it's also ten degrees cooler with winds now out of the north. I found & fed all cats quickly, between the major rains. igot a little wet, but not soaked like a couple nights ago... and the few places I looked for change produced some: a quarter from a soda machine coin return, two quarters and a nickel at a drive-up window area (where I feed two kitties, including Karma), and three quarters from an ice machine coin return... six quarters and a nickel, $1.55, which is awesome for a rain night. fourth night this month of finding $1+. joy. the jar of change is filling. I think it'll be full in 2-3 weeks.

Quote: Bazooka Joe comics dearborn, are you meaning the small comic that came with the chunk of bubblegum? I recall having a handful of those, circa 1972.

ah, the good ol' days, when you could send 10 comics and fifty-five cents and get a swell knife.

do they still do that? does bazooka joe still make bubble gum & comics? i had a very decent night and nabbed a few pictures. i picked $2.21 tonight, all well-scattered change. I hadn't found that much change in one night since october 14 last year. among tonight's pickins were 4 quarters from my favorite ice machine's coin return, a quarter, dime and nickel combo in a parking lot and a tidy pile of twenty-seven cents at an air-vac: (the four quarters picture didn't load properly ) plus, I picked a one cent German euro from somewhere, must've mistaken it for a zincoln.
