yep.. of the other fifty-three cents, there was 1 quarter that I picked, so in total I scored 20 quarters last night, or half of a roll.  very helpful. |

snowbirds. all the snowbirds have flocked back to kw. we know how cold it probably is up north by the number of RVs on the island, plus all the quarters that I score from ice & water machines.

i wasn't sure that I was going to get my dollar tonight. the island was dead-quiet when I was out between 1 & 2am. I rolled up to a pair of air-vacs- the last stop before home- with just fifty cents in my pocket. I discovered the second machine had fifty-three cents sitting there, which I quickly claimed. I barely eked-out a buck tonight, picking $1.03 in total.

last night I picked $1.08, squeezed the streets for another dollar-eight.
cold front pushed through, currently we have a sunny 61*. not very tropical, but a lot of the rest of the country is probably much cooler than that.
