Quote: I've had enough cold. 'cold' is not tropical. I want to get back to my regular routine. I've had to back off the past several nights because it's been too chilly to be out putzing around. I feed the cats & go home, no money hunting. Hopefully, if you are staying in, so are the change droppers. Stay warm and get at it when you can!

tonight I picked $1.47-- my first $1+ night since I can't remember when-- largely thanks to two ice machines each yielding a pair of quarters. it was warm enough tonight for a slightly lengtheir effort. amazing: after several days & nights in the 50s, with chilly north winds, now 65* feels really nice. we're getting blasted with another cold front thursday afternoon, but it's not going to be as yucky and is going to be short-lived. more north wind. I finished my paint job yesterday, but more is coming.

First Pink Savings would like to announce the completion of Cycle 19. i was sitting in front of the cauldron eating my oatmeal this morning when the cauldron lights went off and the lid popped open. have a look at what it yielded for me: 2024 1/20oz gold Libertad proof (tiny rascal...) 2025 1oz silver Koala 2026 1oz silver Maple Leaf that 1/20 gold libertad proof will sit nicely alongside the 1/10 gold libertad proof from Cycle 17. the silver maple leaf is only the 3rd maple leaf coin I've ever acquired. the silver koala is a first. interesting how the 1oz silver koala is $1 and the 1oz silver maple leaf is $5. another successful conversion after several weeks of waiting. Cycle 20 sits at $45 and counting. it's probably going to be several months before the cycle completes. who knows what i'll pick from the streets this year. so... the process carries on.

a fresh class picture, new things have been added to the growing pile. thank you, streets and parking lots of key west. 2 milestones coming up: #1- the grand running total is at $4,726. $274 is needed to achieve the $5K-mark. #2- three more ounces of silver needed to achieve a full 2 pounds (Troy). so I'm aiming for Cycle 20 to be at least three ounces of silver. saving up for them will carry the grand running total past that $5K-mark.
