LOL!! great friends, DiscoLover82! i love free money, too. i love it so much that I can't take a break from finding it. I tried (not very hard) to stop, but- as I was lamenting to helder the other day- I know what i'll be missing. i'll be missing dollars, like this one: i picked that buck in the wild friday night. I almost missed that. what else would I miss? untold amounts of change. it piles up. i'd be turning my back on $30-$60/month. for just riding my bike around. I can't make the gold unless I go out & find the necessary base metal & paperwork. bottles of water & other assorted free stuff is a nice bonus, but not imperative. since posting that I need a break I've found about $6, in 4 days. I can't take a break, even tho i'd like to. the building that leaks dollars will keep on leaking them whether I'm there or not. if I don't go get them someone else will.

thanks, E&V, I enjoy capturing them. finding a dollar = a 1-day gain on the target.. and repurposing errant bucks is a fine pastime. tonight I picked $1.94 in well-scattered change.. 3 quarters, 7 dimes, 2 nickels and 39 cents, including a 1974 canadian cent and a 1970 LMC that appears to have the 'floater' roof on the reverse. one end of it was gobbed with a bit of cosmic crud, i'll have to scrub it & get a better look at it tmrw. pix to follow. after 5 days I've picked a little over $8. it took 10 days to get from $120 to $130. $58 to go.

Only 52 cents yesterday!!
But like I tell Mr pink it all adds to the pile.
I rolled $2 in nickels and 50 cents in cents. In a few weeks I'll make another deposit.
I was talking to Mr pink early this week and asked for advice as my 2 blue Whitman boxes are filled with silver after talking to him I'm only going for gold forward . That will take a long time but I'm looking forward to a box filled with gold.

the LOL update for today (but i'll be back later): getting ready to go to work, I discovered a dime & zincoln in the money pocket of my shorts, so I actually scored $2.05 last night, not $1.94... i'll tack that onto tonight's finds instead of making a mess of my calendar notes..

the coins I mentioned in an earlier post: 1974 canadian cent 1970 LMC; I don't know if this is a true floater or not.. because even though there isn't a 'straight line' connecting the roof to the top of the building, I see enough light-play in those areas to see that the 'straight lines' haven't been entirely abraded away, just mostly abraded away.. i always check those 1970 LMC reverses for floaters, I have found a few over the years

Nice! When I find a wild buck, I tend to find my nearest vending machine and get it turned into four quarters, seeing as I have more use for quarters than small bills (I need quarters for laundry - and even if I have enough for such, my bank's coin counter strictly handles coins, not bills). Maybe I'm just the crazy one though!

Nothing wrong meeting up with Wild Bill!
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures
