those are nice additions to the alchemy bag.

february ended just like january re: average nightly coin finds: a smidge over a dollar a day... and if the average nightly coin finds continue at around a dollar a day I am on track to reach the $3K-mark by the first day of spring. as of now I need about twenty & change.

i mulled over several other silver ounces, but settled on the libertad because of 1) the design, 2) the price, and 3) the 2023 date. whenever cycle 17 approaches conclusion i'll be eyeing a 2024 coin. I looked at a 2018 barbados silver trident; it's still in my thoughts.

march starts with a bang: tonight I scored $3.71 in mostly well-scattered change; the building that leaks dollars finally gifted me with my first wild buck of the year:

Post-Your-Stories-&-Pix-Of-Found-Money

the last wild buck I nabbed was december 28 last year.

plus I picked a Sacagawea dollar coin and three quarters from an ice machine coin return:

the spring money season comes in like a lion..

Great finds! The dollar coin is a nice addition, don't see them too often.

i never see them in circulation, I always find them somewhere. the last dollar coin I found was at the end of january- james k polk- and I found it on the ground in front of the same ice machine. when I picked that $1.75 last night I stood there examining the machine. there was a hand-written note attached to the face of it saying the machine doesn't accept dollar coins... but it appears as though it gives them out as change. of course i'll always have my eye on this now...
