I think I see doubling in the reverse at the pillars. Please look the front and back over closely. I have other coins that appear to have doubling also. I would like to know how to understand it and see it properly.

As part of the design, the LMC reverse shows what appears to be doubling on (left to right) columns 1, 5, 8 and 12, toward the center. This is to represent the depth of the actual space and columns behind the foremost ones. You can see those additional vertical lines in this pic:

It is meant to look like a 3D effect on LMC. Also,there are many forms of doubling to learn,have you studied this site? http://koinpro.tripod.com/Articles/...Doubling.htm

Many look for even the slightest doubling. For me if you have to really try hard to see the doubling, I just ignor it all.

Yep, the 'doubling' is actually intended to represent a 3d effect.
